Within the Varsity and Junior Varsity Divisions, for the National Qualifying Exams that are given at Varsity and JV National History Bee and Bowl Regional and State Tournament sites, there is no registration deadline (i.e. students are welcome to show up by the appointed hour of the exam (to find these, click on the corresponding tournament site on the page that lists all the sites which is linked above).
Within the Middle School and Elementary School Divisions, tournament registration will close three weeks prior to the tournament date. For example, if a tournament is held on a Saturday, registration will close at Midnight EST on the Saturday three weeks prior. Tournaments will have posted field caps, and it is likely that the cap will be met prior to the registration deadline. In all cases, please register as early as possible to help ensure your student will be able to participate.
