All Regional Finals are buzzer-based online competitions. In each Regional Final, there will be 3 preliminary rounds and 1 final round. There are 30 tossup questions per round for Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions and 25 questions for Middle School and Elementary divisions.

Eligibility:
In order to compete in the Science Bee, you must be 19 years or younger at the time of the competition. You must also be enrolled in a primary or secondary school at the time of your regional tournament (or have graduated within the past two months, and not yet have started university studies).

Divisions:
Varsity: born in August 2006 or earlier
Junior Varsity: born between September 2006 and August 2008
Middle School: born between September 2008 and August 2010
Elementary: born in or after September 2010
*Divisions can be combined if not enough students are registered in a division.

Eligibility:
Regional Final tournaments are ONLY open to students who have qualified through Online Regional Qualifying Exams (ORQE). You can find whether you are qualified or not on the ORQE website by signing in with your Student ID. Students must have completed the ORQE before March 31, 2023 to be eligible to compete in the Spring League Regional Finals.
