The International Science Bee consists of Varsity, Junior Varsity, Middle School, and Elementary divisions. All divisions comprise of three stages.
Online Regional Qualifying Exam
Once you have registered as a sponsor and created your sponsor account, log in to your sponsor account and fill up the sponsoring form to let us know how many students you are expecting to have take the ORQE exams (this is only meant to be indicative). You will then find instructions and a link to the ORQE exam in that tab in your account. This exam may be administered at the student’s school under supervision or at home under supervision for homeschooled students and others as needed. There will be no cost for students to take the Online Regional Qualifying Exam this academic year. All students are encouraged to participate. Scores on the Online Regional Qualifying Exam will be utilized to determine which students have qualified for the Regional Finals. Scores will not be made public. You will be able to find your sponsor number when you log into your account.
Regional Finals
Dates and locations for the 2021 International Science Bee Regional Finals will be posted (Asia and Europe) as soon as they are scheduled. Most Regional Finals will be held in conjunction with the International Academic Bee and the International Geography Bee on the same date at the same location.
Championships
The Asian Championships of the International Science Bee will be held in conjunction with the Asian Championships of the International Academic Bee, International Geography Bee, and the International History Bee and Bowl. The European Championships of the International Science Bee will be held in conjunction with the European Championships of the International Academic Bee, International Geography Bee, and the International History Bee and Bowl.
The International Science Bee is actively working to secure hosts for its 2021 Regional Finals. These Regional Finals will be held from February to May, 2021.
