International Academic Competitions is delighted to announce that the International Science Bee, which has run for the past four years at the Middle and Elementary School levels, will expand to include Varsity and Junior Varsity Divisions for the 2019-2020 academic year! The new Varsity and JV Divisions will consist of a National Qualifying Exam with three separate versions. Students must qualify through any one version of the exam to be eligible to compete at the 2020 Varsity & JV National Championships. Varsity and JV Science Bee Nationals will be held on Friday-Saturday, April 24-25 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA as a component of the 2020 International Academic Competitions Varsity & JV US National Championships. Nationals will consist of four preliminary and two playoff rounds of buzzer-based play.
